Designed to support the EYLF

Our modular playsets support all five EYLF outcomes:

  • Identity — children pick their own challenge and grow in confidence.
  • Connection to their world — shared, nature-inspired play builds cooperation.
  • Wellbeing — climbing and balancing develop gross motor skills and resilience.
  • Confident & involved learners — open-ended play invites problem-solving.
  • Effective communicators — group play sparks language and negotiation.

The Adventure Cube Medium Play Set brings imagination, movement, and open‑ended play together in one beautifully crafted setup. Designed for children who love to climb, balance, and explore, this expanded configuration offers even more pathways, challenges, and creative possibilities than the small set.

With multiple cubes, bridges, and boards, children can build their own adventure course - from elevated walkways to jungle‑inspired crossings. Each piece is crafted from high quality aluminium, durable Merbau hardwood timber and exterior-grade plywood, ensuring a safe, sturdy, and engaging play experience that supports gross motor development, confidence, and independent exploration.

Perfect for indoor or outdoor play spaces within Early Learning Centres, Day Care or OSHC environments where quality and safety matter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our Australian-made Playset range — from safety and materials to delivery, assembly and warranty.

About the Range

What’s included in the Playsets range?
Our Playsets range covers everything from compact toddler-friendly sets through to large, multi-piece adventure structures. It includes our classic modular Playsets (Mini, Standard, Medium, Large, Extra Large and Giant), the Nature Blocks range, Adventure Cubes, themed imaginative sets like the Kombi & Caravan, Steam Train and Mack the Truck, and trestles. There’s a configuration to suit almost any age group, yard size and budget.
What does a Playset actually come with?
Each set is a thoughtfully designed combination of play components — for example, our Medium Playset includes 10 versatile pieces such as cleated planks, A-frame trestles, a jungle bridge, board walks and a log bridge. The exact inclusions are listed on every product page so you can see precisely what you’re getting before you order.
Can the pieces be rearranged?
Yes — and this is one of the most loved features for educators. Our clever Aussie Play Cleats and Clamps let your team safely reconfigure components to create fresh layouts and new challenges whenever you like. It keeps play environments interesting and supports ongoing gross motor and problem-solving development without buying new equipment.
Are the sets modular — can we start small and add more later?
Absolutely. Because the system is modular and uses the same Cleats and Clamps across the range, you can begin with a smaller set and build out your play space over time. Spare parts and accessories are also available so your investment keeps growing with your centre.

Safety & Compliance

Are your Playsets compliant with Australian safety standards?
Yes. Our Playsets are made in Australia and certified to AS 4685.1 and NZ 5828 playground safety standards — so you can have confidence the equipment meets recognised benchmarks for safe play. This supports your centre’s own quality, safety and compliance obligations.
Will this equipment help with our quality and safety assessments?
Our equipment is designed and certified with early learning environments in mind, which makes it well suited to supporting your centre’s safety, supervision and risk-management practices. We recommend pairing any equipment with your own risk assessments, supervision plans and appropriate undersurfacing as part of your centre’s overall safety approach.
What about fall zones and soft-fall surfacing?
As with all playground equipment, sets should be installed with adequate clearance and appropriate impact-absorbing undersurfacing around them, in line with AS 4685. The right setup depends on your specific equipment and space, so we’re happy to advise — our Design Consultation service can help you plan a safe, compliant layout for your yard.
Is the equipment designed to support “risky play”?
Yes — within safe limits. Our sets are designed to encourage age-appropriate challenge, such as climbing, balancing and exploring, which builds confidence, resilience and physical capability. The modular design lets educators dial the challenge up or down to suit the children using it.

Age Suitability & Development

What age groups are the Playsets suitable for?
The range spans early years through to primary-aged children. We offer toddler-specific sets (such as the Eucalyptus Toddler, Forest Walker Toddler and Eucalyptus Junior) as well as larger sets suited to older or mixed-age groups. Each product page indicates its intended use, and we recommend active adult supervision for all play.
How does the equipment support children’s learning and development?
Our Playsets are designed to support physical development, confidence building and social interaction. Climbing, balancing and cooperative play develop gross motor skills, coordination and turn-taking, while the imaginative themed sets (trucks, trains, caravans) spark storytelling, role play and language development.
Can the same set work for a mixed-age centre?
Yes — the modular design means a set can be reconfigured to be more or less challenging depending on the group using it. Many centres choose a large-sized set for flexibility then adjust the layout for different age groups throughout the week.

Materials, Durability & Maintenance

What are the Playsets made from?
Our sets are built tough for busy outdoor spaces. Key materials include rust-proof, powder-coated aluminium, sustainably sourced Merbau hardwood timber and non-slip rubber feet for stability. Our Nature Blocks range is made from our proprietary durable HDPE, and our Adventure Cubes use quality exterior grade plywood.
Will the equipment hold up outdoors and in high-traffic centres?
Yes. The materials are weather-resistant and chosen specifically for Australian conditions and the demands of a busy early learning environment. The equipment is engineered for durability and long-lasting performance, which is exactly why centres rely on it day after day.
Is the equipment easy to keep clean and maintain?
Yes — the powder-coated aluminium and HDPE surfaces are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to wipe down as part of your regular cleaning routine. Routine checks of fixings and feet help keep everything safe and in great condition over the years.
Is the timber sustainably sourced?
Yes. We use sustainably sourced Merbau hardwood and prioritise eco-friendly materials and processes as part of our commitment to reducing environmental impact — supported by local Australian manufacturing.

Ordering, Delivery & Lead Time

How long does it take to receive my order?
Most of our products are manufactured to order, so there’s typically a lead time of around 6 weeks. If an item is already in stock, it usually ships within 48 hours. We make every order to the highest standard and as quickly as we can — and we’ll keep you updated along the way.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes — we deliver to early learning centres, schools and councils across Australia. Shipping is calculated at checkout, or you can contact our team for a delivery quote.
Can we get a formal quote for our centre?
Of course. We’re happy to prepare a quote for your centre or for multiple sites. Just get in touch with the products you’re interested in and we’ll sort it out — this is especially handy for budgeting and committee or owner approval.

Assembly & Installation

Does the equipment require assembly?
Some items arrive fully assembled and some require assembly. Any item that needs assembling comes with clear instructions, and our products are designed to be put together with minimal tools and know-how.
Do you offer installation or design help?
Yes. Beyond the products themselves, we offer a Design Consultation service and dedicated Primary School Playground Solutions to help you plan and set up your space. If you’d like guidance on layout, safety zones or choosing the right sets, our team is ready to help.

Warranty & After-Sales

What warranty do the Playsets come with?
Our Playsets come with a 5-year structural warranty, plus a 1-year warranty on fixings and accessories. Warranty terms can vary by item, so check the individual product page or our Warranty page for the specifics.
What happens if a part needs replacing?
We keep a range of genuine Aussie Play spare parts and accessories available, so individual components can be replaced rather than the whole set. This extends the life of your equipment and protects your investment.
Who do I contact for support after purchase?
Our team is here for the long haul. You can reach us on 02 4648 3366 or through the enquiry form on any product page — we typically reply within 2 business hours.

Pricing & Payment

How much do the Playsets cost?
Prices in the current range run from around $1,237 for compact sets up to roughly $7,500 for our largest configurations, with options at most points in between. Each product page shows its current price and sale saving.
How can we pay?
We accept major cards and digital wallets. We also offer a Pay by Invoice / Bank Deposit option — no credit card required. Just choose Direct Deposit at checkout and we’ll email your tax invoice with bank details, which is ideal for centres using purchase orders.

Australian Made

Where are your Playsets made?
Proudly right here in Australia. We design, manufacture and finish our equipment in Sydney with in-house fabrication, which means exceptional craftsmanship, strict quality control, shorter lead times and a reduced environmental footprint. Our products carry Australian Made and Owned certification.
Why does buying Australian-made matter for our centre?
Choosing Australian-made means equipment built for Australian conditions, backed by a local team you can actually reach, with genuine spare parts and support close to home. It also means you’re supporting local manufacturing and a family-owned Australian business.
